Make comment on groups within the group that you will be catering for.
Make comment on the ways in which you are going to support their exploration of themes.
Make comment on the ways you are going to facilitate the different groups.
On a basic level there will be age and gender differences.
what further demographic gropus can you identify.

In short.

  1. Different groups can include: height, weight, interests and confidence. For nstance, peoplewho are interested in sports will like more physical games. Whereas others who are more creative will like games that include shapes etc. Height could also be a barrier. The balloon game may be difficult for short people as they won't be able to reach the balloon as well as taller people. Finally, weight can also be a barrier to some extent. If somebody has to be lifted into the air, whis may be easier to do with someobody who is light. Confidence can also be a divider. Some people will be more willing to do a speaking or acting game than others.

  2. There will be different types of group attending the workshop. The physical apperence will have an impact but in my opinion it will be more about different friendship groups. I hope that by the end of the workshops this distance between the different groups will be non existant.

I think the people selected are all very different with different levels of confidence and different attitudes. Our group has different genders, ages, heights and views. Depending on who it is the group may have different opinions from each other and some may even struggle working together because of this. I think we should not force anyone to do something which they are uncomfortable with as they may not want to return to the next session. Possible let people work with others who they are more comfortable around at first may help the group to develop over the sessions so that by time we have finished, everyone can work together with ease, although, some people will always struggle to work together.
